Cyber Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our team at Sanderson. As a key member of our IT division, you will play a crucial role in crafting and implementing secure systems to protect our organization's assets.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct threat assessments of IT solution designs and determine associated cybersecurity risks.
- Design and implement cybersecurity controls to mitigate identified risks.
- Review and assess IT and cybersecurity control changes.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging risks and develop solutions to mitigate them.
- Conduct periodic audits of cybersecurity control architectures.
- Develop cybersecurity policies aligned with business objectives.
- Establish cybersecurity standards and non-functional requirements.
- Assess new and existing deployments using industry standards and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Provide input for crisis management plans and information security management systems.
- Participate in cybersecurity drills and review security SOPs and process documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Appropriate certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
- Proven experience in a similar Cyber Security Architect role.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, NIST Cyber Security Framework, and NCSC Cyber Security guidance.
- Understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and PCI-DSS.
- Experience with security tools and technologies.
- Ability to work with stakeholders, mentor, and provide guidance on cloud security.
