About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our team at Sanderson. As a Cyber Security Architect, you will play a critical role in helping us build secure systems and stay ahead of emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct threat assessments of IT solution designs and determine the cybersecurity risk associated with solutions.
- Design cybersecurity controls to mitigate cybersecurity risks.
- Review IT and cybersecurity control changes.
- Assess emerging risks and prepare solutions to mitigate such risks.
- Conduct periodic audits of cybersecurity control architectures.
- Develop cybersecurity policies to meet business objectives.
- Develop cybersecurity standards or NFRs (non-functional requirements).
- Threat assess new and existing deployments using industry standards and help in adversary emulation using MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Provide inputs for crisis management plans and ISMS (information security management systems).
- Participate in cybersecurity drills and review cybersecurity SOPs/process documentation.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems Management, or equivalent area, and appropriate certificates such as CISSP or CISM.
- A proven background within a similar Cyber Security Architect role.
- A good knowledge of NIST Cyber Security Framework.
- Familiarity with NCSC Cyber Security guidance.
- A good understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, PCI-DSS.
- A good understanding of IT security controls.
