About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our team at Sanderson. As a key member of our IT division, you will play a crucial role in crafting and implementing secure systems that protect our organization's assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct threat assessments of IT solution designs and determine associated cybersecurity risks.
  • Design and implement cybersecurity controls to mitigate identified risks.
  • Review and assess IT and cybersecurity control changes.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging risks and develop solutions to mitigate them.
  • Conduct periodic audits of cybersecurity control architectures.
  • Develop cybersecurity policies that align with business objectives.
  • Establish cybersecurity standards and non-functional requirements.
  • Assess new and existing deployments using industry standards and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Provide input for crisis management plans and information security management systems.
  • Participate in cybersecurity drills and review security standard operating procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Appropriate certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
  • Proven experience in a similar Cyber Security Architect role.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with NIST Cyber Security Framework and NCSC Cyber Security guidance.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and PCI-DSS.
  • Knowledge of IT security controls and security tools and technologies.
  • Experience with security control assessments using industry frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
