Job Title: Support Worker for Complex Care

Enviva Complex Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Llandudno, Wales. The successful candidate must be flexible and able to cover all shift patterns on a planned rota basis.

The estimated salary for this position is £204.00-£216.00 per day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with personalised routines inclusive of hoists
  • Support Independence and continued rehabilitation
  • Manage neurogenic bladder - care of urethral/ suprapubic catheter or through use of intermittent catheterisation
  • Manage neurogenic bowel - undertaking bowel care regime as defined in the care and support plan- this may include Digital Rectal Examination, Digital Rectal Stimulation, Digital Rectal removal of faeces, insertion of suppositories or enema, use of bowel irrigation system
  • Complete daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care
  • Ability to deal with challenging behaviours
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours
  • Drivers license with own car
