Foster Care Navigator

We're seeking an experienced Family Time Worker to join our team at Staffordshire County Council, supporting children in Local Authority Foster Care.
As a key member of our team, you will coordinate Family Time arrangements, facilitating therapeutic interactions between children and their families.
With a focus on promoting positive relationships and supporting families through challenging times, you will play a critical role in shaping the lives of these vulnerable children.
To succeed in this position, you'll need a strong understanding of child development and trauma, excellent IT skills, and experience working with vulnerable children.
A minimum NVQ 3 in working with children and families or equivalent experience is essential, along with the ability to work evenings and occasional weekends as needed.
Our council offers a supportive working environment and flexible working options, with a competitive salary of £29,000-£34,000 per annum, depending on experience.
