About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at Lancashire County Council. As a Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Requirements

  • Recognised catering qualification and substantial experience in a similar supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of food costing, specialised diets, and basic hygiene practices.
  • Excellent organisational and team leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
