Adult Healthcare Support Worker

An opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Band 2 Health Care Support Worker in the Main Outpatients Department.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced clinic area, assisting Registered Nurses and Medical Teams with adult patients. To be successful, applicants must possess an approachable manner necessary to deal with patients and their relatives. Experience in a hospital environment is desirable.
Following training, the successful candidate will work Monday to Friday (hours to be negotiated).
Main Responsibilities- Assist Registered Nurses/Practitioners in delivering high-standard patient care, ensuring dignity and equality at all times.
- Embed fundamentals of care principles into daily practice to provide excellent service.
- Support patients in maintaining personal hygiene and appearance.
- Perform duties as delegated by qualified practitioners, within scope of training and assessment.
- Prepare clinical areas for patient reception, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness, and reporting any issues to relevant staff.
Salary: £20,500 - £24,907 per annum
This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
