About the Opportunity
The Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales is seeking a skilled and motivated Support Worker for Healthcare Services to join our team in the Emergency Department.
The successful candidate will have some experience in care, preferably in a hospital setting, and will be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve high standards of patient care.
This role involves working in a dynamic hospital environment, where we value initiative and organizational skills, and training, mentorship and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and their families.
- To work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve high standards of patient care.
- To maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a caring environment, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to work and ability to adapt to changing situations.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £22,145 per annum (pro rata), as well as a range of benefits including paid annual leave, pension scheme, and access to training and development opportunities.
