About the Role

The Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales is seeking a highly motivated and organized Healthcare Support Worker to join our dedicated team in the Emergency Department. The successful candidate will have some experience in care, preferably in a hospital setting.

This role involves working as part of a supportive team in a dynamic hospital environment. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who is able to work independently and as part of a team, and has a flexible approach to work.

We value initiative and organizational skills, and training, mentorship and support will be provided to the successful candidate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and their families.
  • To work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve high standards of patient care.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a caring environment, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to work and ability to adapt to changing situations.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £22,145 per annum (pro rata), as well as a range of benefits including paid annual leave, pension scheme, and access to training and development opportunities.
