Job Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Front of House Supervisor to join our team at the Crown and Garter. As a key member of our small, hardworking team, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the pub, ensuring all shifts run smoothly with adequate staffing levels on each service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Organize and manage bar, restaurant, and hotel shifts, including forecasting, table planning, and staff duties.
  • Prepare rotas and ensure efficient close of pub, cash up, and secure the premises when leaving.
  • Oversee cellar management, stock control, and rotation.
  • Carry out new staff induction and training.
  • Liaise with the Head Chef and Kitchen team to ensure new menu production, management of events, and FOH training and development.
  • Adhere to and maintain H&S, Licensing Legislation, and Fire Evacuation procedures.
  • Oversee hotel reservations, bookings, and group reservations, including check-ins, check-outs, invoicing, and payments.
  • Support the coffee shop team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring stock and staff levels are adequate.
