Controller of Financial Operations

Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing financial controls, systems, and processes to produce efficient and robust accounting information.
- Implementing and managing financial systems and control
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and reporting
- Preparing budgets and forecasting for the company as a whole, as well as for each development project
- Project-based accounting and costings, including viability reporting
- Financial analysis, including forecast vs actual results
- Cash flow management
- Supervising finance personnel
- Presenting financial information to the executive team and investor network
- Cross-functional liaison with personnel at all levels of the business
- Liaison with HMRC, external accountants, and other third parties regarding statutory compliance matters
- VAT returns (monthly)
- Weekly and monthly payroll, including CIS
Fully qualified ACA, CIMA, or ACCA is ideal. Strong accounting experience combined with relevant experience in setting up new systems and controls is also desirable.
Experience with Sage and strong Excel skills are essential. Ambition and aspiration to progress your personal development and finance career to the next level are crucial.
