Financial Controller for Continuous Improvement

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our Plant Senior Leadership Team in Botcherby, near Carlisle. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager and functionally to the EMEA Finance Director, this role is part of the Crown Bevcan EMEA business.
The plant operates 24 hours a day on a continuous shift system, 360 days per annum, with a team of approximately 250 people.
Main Responsibilities:- Monitor financial key performance indicators of the plant, adhering to Group accounting rules, USGAAP, and local statutory requirements.
- Ensure the implementation of a robust internal controls framework and compliance with internal policies.
- Collaborate with other plant departments to analyze their cost performance.
- Identify and implement corrective actions for any financial issues that arise.
- Contribute actively to the continuous improvement program, aiming to achieve World Class Performance in finance.
- Take responsibility for the accuracy of financial statements, following internal rules and procedures.
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of costs and variances analysis, financial control, reporting, and manufacturing accounting.
- Comprehensive proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with a sound knowledge of Finance ERP (Onestream) and ERP systems (preferably SAP).
