Job Description:
As a highly skilled Accounts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the financial success of our client's group businesses. Based in Carlisle, this ambitious owner-managed company has a strong local presence and an excellent reputation with their customers throughout the area.

The successful candidate will work closely with the 2 Directors to ensure timely and accurate financial information is processed for strategic business decisions. Key responsibilities include:
  • Processing all financial transactions for the Group companies on Sage line 50
  • Reconciliation of monthly debtors and statements
  • Project expenditure recording and billing to customers
  • Subcontractor tax status checks and deductions
  • Preparation and reconciliation of CIS returns for 3 Group companies
  • Payroll processing on Sage Payroll for all employees
  • VAT return preparation and reconciliation for 5 Group businesses

What You'll Need:
Experience in a similar Bookkeeping/Accounts Manager role with strong Sage experience
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team
Good Excel skills
Self-starter

Salary Range: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
