We are seeking a Primary Care Nurse to join our team at HMP Risley, a category C prison located in Warrington.

HMP Risley has a population of approximately 1,000 male prisoners.

As a bank staff nurse, you'll work on a flexible shift basis, Monday to Sunday, from 7:30 am to 5 pm, earning £24.98 per hour.

Job Description:

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver nurse-led clinics to your patient group, using your skills and knowledge to provide outstanding evidence-based care.

  • Deliver non-judgmental care that makes a real difference, as defined throughout our bespoke Health in Justice competency framework.
  • Share knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure safe care, building strong multi-disciplinary teams and supporting each other to do a great job.

Qualifications required include registered nurse – Adult, current professional qualification (NMC), evidence of Continued Professional Development, a non-judgmental and compassionate approach, and excellent communication skills.
