About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Atlas Copco Power Technique. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers and internal teams, ensuring the successful delivery of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits to resolve technical and application problems.
  • Handle warranty claims and service bulletins in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support dealers with warranty claims and provide technical assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Service Operations Manager to manage work-in-progress and ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Develop and deliver internal and external technical service training to ensure our customers and employees have the necessary knowledge to operate and maintain our products.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge base articles to support our customers and internal teams.
  • Participate in special projects as required to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Excellent technical knowledge of generators, ESS systems, and related products.
  • Experience in customer support and technical service roles.
  • Goal-focused mindset with a strong emphasis on achieving targets and maintaining effectiveness.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with customers and internal teams.
  • Good standard of PC knowledge, including Microsoft applications.
  • Desirable: Good basic knowledge of ESS systems, diesel generators, and related products.
  • Educational requirements: A national certificate in mechanical engineering is essential. Apprentice-trained and knowledge of Atlas Copco systems is desirable.
  • High-quality engineering background and technical service experience in generators, lighting towers, pumps, and ESS systems is essential.
  • Prepared to travel throughout the UK and Ireland.
  • A full clean driving license and right to work in the UK are essential for this role.
