Purchase Ledger Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at Accountancy And Finance Personnel Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, matching batching & coding of invoices, reconciling Supplier Statements, and managing any credit notes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices
  • Reconcile Supplier Statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Manage any credit notes and resolve any outstanding queries with suppliers
  • Assist the team in the production of the weekly payment runs
  • Filing of Accounts Payable documents

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to resolve queries with suppliers
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional overtime

09.00am - 5.00pm or 08.00am - 4.00pm (flexi hours available)
