Financial Administrator Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to support our team in maintaining accurate accounting records for accounts payable and receivable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Processing purchase ledger transactions, including supplier invoices and statements
  • Raising invoice queries with suppliers and resolving discrepancies
  • Managing supplier payments, including foreign currency transactions
  • Verifying goods received against purchase orders and invoices
  • Processing sales ledger transactions, including generating and sending sales invoices and customer statements
  • Credit control and customer account management
  • Processing credit card transactions and identifying discrepancies
  • Updating accounting databases and spreadsheets
  • Tracking courier shipments and assisting with financial reporting

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting or equivalent
  • Proven finance administration experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to learn new accounting technology
  • Confidentiality and data protection
