The Finance Assistant will support the Finance Manager by maintaining financial systems, recording and processing financial information, data entry and general financial administration.

**Key responsibilities**
- Work in a professional manner that represents HG Comms at all times
- Uphold quality standards
- Scanning of receipts and purchase invoices
- Raising sales invoices
- Processing purchase invoices on the company’s accounting system
- Ensuring authorisation and coding of invoices in line with company coding structure
- Recording and coding petty cash expenditure
- Processing of employee expense forms
- Processing credit card expenses
- Reconcile bank statements
- Assisting in the preparation and processing of payroll
- Assist with credit control duties
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports
- Undertaking other finance administrative tasks and general support to the Finance Manager as required
- Answer phone calls and support with general admin duties as required
- Any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of the role
- Deputise for the Finance Manager

**Requirements;**
- Excellent interpersonal skills and good written and verbal communication skills, Spanish language skills would be an advantage but not essential
- Professional experience of general administrative and finance tasks, with a sound understanding of accounting processes
- High level of numeracy and financial awareness
- Ability to engage with stakeholders of all levels
- A high level of computer literacy and knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently, flexibly and to use own initiative to solve problems proactively
- Organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- AAT, or working towards, would be an advantage
- Experience of Navision is desirable
