Job Description:

  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and other learning disabilities.">
  • Assist teaching staff in delivering adapted curricula tailored to each student's specific needs.">
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment by adhering to safeguarding procedures and policies.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Experience working within a SEN or educational setting, preferably with children or young adults with special needs.">
  • A strong understanding of ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning disabilities.">
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with students and encourage independence and self-confidence.">
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience in supporting students with challenging behaviors.">
  • An enhanced DBS check registered with the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.">
  • Flexible and positive attitude with a genuine passion for working with SEN students.">
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, are advantageous but not essential for candidates with experience.">
