Job Overview: At Philosophy Education, we are seeking an experienced Special Needs Support Professional to join our team as an Autism Classroom Assistant.

This role offers the opportunity to work with children with Autism in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The Role:

In this position, you will provide support to pupils with Autism in the classroom and during specialist intervention sessions. You will use your skills and experience to help create a structured and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Support children with Autism in the classroom and during specialist intervention sessions
  • Use visuals to structure sessions, including visual timetables and now/next boards
  • Calmly and clearly communicate with children, staff, and parents
  • Maintain a calm and organized behavior management approach
About the Position:

We offer ongoing contract, full-time employment ASAP with a competitive salary of £28,000 - £40,000 per annum.
