Job Title: Special Educational Needs Support Professional

£90,000 per annum (pro rata)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Support Professional to join our team at LTF Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will work alongside a mainstream primary school to support children with special educational needs in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons tailored to students' individual requirements and abilities.
  2. Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
  3. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social interaction and emotional well-being among students.
  4. Monitor and assess students' progress, using this information to inform teaching strategies and make adjustments as necessary.
  5. Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student development, providing regular updates and feedback.
Requirements:
  1. Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  3. Able to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive school culture.
  4. Relevant qualifications or training in education or special needs support, such as a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
