Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Special Needs Teaching Support Professional in a lovely Primary School in Brent that supports children with Autism.

The Role

In this role, you will be supporting pupils with Autism (high and low functioning) in the classroom and during specialist intervention sessions. You will assist the children with their learning and help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with Autism in the classroom and during specialist intervention sessions
  • Assisting the children with their learning and helping them reach their full potential
  • Working closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Calmly and clearly using language to communicate with students and staff
  • Confident behavior management and boundaries

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children with Autism
  • Calm and clear use of language
  • Confident behavior management and boundaries

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
