About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated teaching support professional to join our team as a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a nurturing and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support for a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their individual learning goals.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual learning plans (ILPs) and adapt resources to suit the student's specific needs.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential.
  • Understanding of SEN: A solid understanding of different types of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties, and the ability to tailor support to meet the individual needs of the student.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and other professionals to support the student's progress.

  • PPA Time: Dedicated time to plan and collaborate with the class teacher to ensure the student's needs are being met.

Salary

An estimated salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
