Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Museum Communications Director to join our team at the Association of Academic Museums & Galleries. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote our mission and engage with our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and execute public events, membership activities, and fundraising events that support our mission.
  • Manage communication efforts, including publicity, promotion, and advertising.
  • Oversee facility rental processes and activities.
  • Serve as a liaison between the museum auxiliary board and museum staff.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field and one year of experience related to the above-described duties. You should have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
