Academic Museums Coordinator

This role is designed to plan, execute, and manage public events, membership initiatives, and fundraising activities for academic museums. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the museum auxiliary board to create engaging events that support museum initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating publicity and promotional activities for events and exhibitions.
- Developing and implementing membership initiatives, including renewal forms, membership cards, and newsletter mailings.
- Managing communication efforts, including social media platforms and email newsletters.
- Collaborating with university departments and outside groups regarding facility rental and space usage.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and regional location.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of experience in event planning, marketing, or a similar field.
