Assistant Collections Manager / Registrar – University of Mississippi Museum, Oxford

The University of Mississippi Museum seeks to fill the position of Assistant Collections Manager / Registrar.

This full-time role offers hourly wages with university benefits. The successful candidate will report to the museum's Curator / Collections Manager. This is an on-site position, Monday – Friday, with no remote work required.

We anticipate the start date for this role to be in March 2025.

This role comes with a salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the collections database.

• Coordinate exhibitions and events.

• Develop and implement collection management policies.

• Collaborate with curators and other staff members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
