Job Title:

Association of Academic Museums & Galleries Events Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Events Specialist to join our team at the Association of Academic Museums & Galleries. As an integral part of our marketing and outreach efforts, this role will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing public events, membership initiatives, and fundraising activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate museum events, including setup, negotiation of contractual obligations, logistical considerations, and supervision of events from set-up to take-down.
  • Collaborate with staff and museum board to create fundraising events to support museum initiatives and fundraising needs.
  • Develop and implement membership initiatives, including renewal forms, membership cards, NARM membership, alumni mailings, events, and newsletter mailings.
  • Manage and produce monthly Museum e-newsletters.
  • Oversee Museum Social Media Platforms and serve as Museum webmaster.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field.
  • One (1) year of experience related to the above described duties.
Estimated Salary Range:

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
