About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Translator to join our international content team at Love Holidays. As a Content Translator, you will play a key role in ensuring our English content is translated seamlessly into the Dutch language, maintaining our brand's tone of voice and personality in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and edit copy translated from English to Dutch to fit brand guidelines and tone of voice
  • Create user-centric content that helps resolve user issues and customer service queries
  • Work across the marketing team to curate content for email, push, social, and brand activities in the Netherlands
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and deliver content that supports the wider business

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal and written communication
  • Ability to translate copy from English into Dutch to a high standard
  • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills
  • Understanding of how brand guidelines influence the copy you create, including tone of voice
  • Understanding of how to adapt copy to a range of platforms, e.g., email and social media
  • Understanding of how content can be used to communicate customer service issues effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize different projects effectively

Desirable Skills:

  • Additional European language skills, particularly German
  • Experience using platforms such as Braze, Twilio, or similar to create email and push campaigns, as well as segmentation using custom data
  • Experience using analytics platforms such as Looker or Tableau to monitor performance and make data-led decisions regarding future campaigns
  • Experience creating brand content
  • Knowledge and understanding of the travel sector
  • Good understanding of how SEO influences onsite content
