Job Title: German Translator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled German Translator to join our team at PTW. As a German Translator, you will be responsible for translating video game content from English to German, ensuring high-quality translations that meet our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate video game content from English to German, following product-specific guidelines and industry standards.
  • Review and revise translations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with other language specialists to produce high-quality translations.
  • Provide linguistic feedback for work carried out externally.
  • Meet deadlines and industry-standard productivity figures.

Requirements:

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:

  • Native-level fluency in German and English, particularly reading & writing.
  • Strong understanding of German culture.
  • Experience within the translation industry or working professionally as a Translator.
  • Excellent knowledge of business software applications (Microsoft Office, memoQ, Plunet).
  • Be proactive with clear and effective communication skills (verbal and written).
