Job Title: Nursing Specialist

Join Turning Point UK as a Nursing Specialist and make a real difference in the lives of individuals struggling with substance use issues. As a key member of our Slough Service team, you will work under the supervision of our Clinical Lead and Operations Manager to improve the wellbeing of a wide range of individuals.

Our Drug and Alcohol Wellbeing Service 'START' offers support to individuals in Slough, East Berkshire. You will be part of a busy service that provides health and social care services as a social enterprise, investing every penny back into our care - and our people.

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council. As an employee, you will have access to RCNi to assist with revalidation, indemnity insurance and support and supervision from the nurse manager and clinical lead.

You will need to be a nurse who loves talking to people with different needs, is genuinely interested in helping them, and possesses a deep level of empathy, understanding and patience. We value individual creativity and initiative and, whatever your role, you will be fully involved in identifying opportunities to improve the quality of our services and the service user experience.
