About the Service

Our Drug and Alcohol Wellbeing Service, START, offers support to individuals in Slough and East Berkshire. You will work within a busy service under the supervision of our Clinical Lead and Operations Manager to improve the wellbeing of a wide range of individuals.

As a social enterprise, we invest every penny back into our care and our people, making us a sector leader in our field.

About the Job

As a Nurse Specialist, you will provide support to the team, including Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations, and work closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services.

You will also help to create a collaborative approach that links Turning Point ever closer to outside professionals and agencies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.

As an employee, you will have access to RCNi to assist with revalidation, indemnity insurance, and support and supervision from the nurse manager and clinical lead.
