High Performance Rail Communications Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High Performance Rail Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive and planned preventative maintenance activities on SISS (Station Information and Security Systems) across our Train Operating Companies contracts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Carry out daily reactive maintenance activities across SISS and Telephony systems (CCTV systems, IP Networks, Help Points, Screens, Public Address, CIS, PAVA and Wi-Fi)
- Conduct daily, weekly, monthly and annual planned maintenance activities as defined by the Team Leader
- Remote monitoring of all systems to identify issues and implement fixes
- Testing and fault finding on equipment, systems and associated infrastructure cabling (copper / fibre)
- Undertake technical investigations and audits
**Requirements:**
- Prior experience in undertaking maintenance activities, both corrective and planned, to ensure effective restoration / repair of customer systems and adherence to all associated processes and reporting requirements
- Knowledge of Communications systems and their applications
- Proven fault-finding skills and experience including the use of suitable test equipment
- Proven IT skills (laptop, Office 365)
- Experience of working with SLA driven maintenance contracts
- Good organisational skills, including multitasking and time management
- Full UK driving licence
