About Us:

At Herbert Smith Freehills, we're seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Impact Communications Manager. As part of our global network, you'll be working closely with our Responsible Business, Pro Bono, and Diversity & Inclusion teams to develop and implement communications strategies that showcase our Firm's commitment to making a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive communications plan that highlights our Firm's Responsible Business initiatives and achievements.
  2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to obtain relevant data and metrics for third-party assessment platforms, ensuring our Firm's strengths are effectively communicated to clients.
  3. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with various departments to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  4. Prepare and submit directory and award submissions related to our Pro Bono, Responsible Business, and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives.
  5. Develop strong internal relationships with key contacts across the business to ensure seamless information flow and knowledge sharing.
  6. Produce engaging content for marketing materials and work with the marketing team to maintain content on our Pro Bono, Responsible Business, and Diversity & Inclusion web pages.

Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of experience in a similar communications-focused role.
  2. Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  3. Proven relationship management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
  4. Strong strategic-thinking, management, and evaluation skills, with the ability to understand and share data authentically and meaningfully.
  5. A commitment to the Responsible Business agenda and a strong understanding of how communications and client engagement can drive business results.
