We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Nursery Nurse to join our Community Perinatal Service in West Devon. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our nursery nurse lead and other nursery nurses to provide high-quality care and support to mothers and infants.
Key Responsibilities- Assist mothers with perinatal mental health problems to care for their babies and ensure their emotional and physical needs are met.
- Engage in activities to promote the parent-infant relationship and provide guidance to colleagues on caring for infants under 2 years.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored interventions in maternal mental health and attachment-based approaches.
- Contribute to the development of skills in other staff and monitor the physical and psychological condition of babies.
