About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our clinical staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and training to provide excellent care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for clinical staff, focusing on mental health care and related topics.
  • Collaborate with clinical leads to establish and maintain a clinical practice model that promotes evidence-based care.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to staff on clinical skills and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with best practices.
  • Work closely with the Education team to ensure seamless integration of training and development initiatives.

Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Professional with current registration (NMC or HCPC).
  • Significant experience in mental health care, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering training programs, with a focus on clinical skills and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
