Facilities Assistant Job Description

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage day-to-day facilities requirements, ensuring all needs are met efficiently.
* Assist in the storage, maintenance, and archiving of deeds, wills, and probate files using a computerized database system.
* Support the Facilities Supervisor with health and safety requirements, including new starter inductions and record maintenance.
* Cover mail room duties on a daily basis and provide support to internal clients regarding stationery and miscellaneous requests.
* Offer reprographics support to all departments as needed and order stationery, lighting, and consumables.
* Investigate and respond to reports of breakdowns or faults, arranging maintenance or repairs when necessary.
* Oversee cleaning standards and liaise with the company to address any issues.
* Assist the Facilities Supervisor in procuring consumables, non-consumables, and services for all RWK Goodman offices.
* Represent the company when sourcing and agreeing new contracts.
* Assist in planning and executing office moves within agreed timeframes.
* Manage the storeroom, control of rubbish and recycling, and kitchen standards.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
