Job Title

A Primary SEN School in Waterlooville is seeking experienced and empathetic individuals to work as Special Needs Assistants.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for dedicated and passionate professionals to provide essential support to students with special educational needs in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

The successful candidates will work full-time, term-time supply contracts, assisting teachers in delivering tailored education plans and supporting students with daily living tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students with special educational needs in a Primary SEN School setting.
  • Working effectively with teachers to deliver tailored education plans and promoting positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Providing assistance with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility, in a respectful and compassionate manner.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team, prioritizing student needs and contributing to a positive school culture.
What We Offer:

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
