Construction Supervisor

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at Mears. As a key member of our Social Housing operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the operational activities of our contract teams, ensuring maximum productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure works are adequately resourced, are being effectively delivered to set quality standards, completed on time and within budgets.
- Compile management reports on operational activities, initiatives, and performance, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with H&S regulations, Mears standard operating procedures, and quality assurance accreditations, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues, promoting a positive and professional image of Mears.
- Manage employee performance, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure individuals reach their full potential.
- Monitor and maintain company assets, including vehicles, equipment, and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order and meet company standards.
Requirements:
- Strong construction knowledge and experience in Social Housing or local authority environments.
- Proven supervisory experience in a similar operation, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues.
- Good written and verbal skills, with the ability to compile reports and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- IT literate, with experience of using software applications to manage data and reports.
