About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at Mears. As a key member of our Social Housing operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor the operational activities of our contract, ensuring maximum productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure works are adequately resourced, are being effectively delivered to set quality standards, completed on time and within budgets.
  • Compile management reports on operational activities, initiatives, and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with H&S regulations, Mears standard operating procedures, Mears values and quality assurance accreditations.
  • Manage employees' performance, coach, and develop individuals in their roles, ensuring HR Policies & Procedures are followed.
  • Monitor and maintain all supplied company assets, including operatives' vans, van stocks, material purchases, tools, plant hire, uniform, and PPE.

Requirements

  • Strong Construction knowledge and experience in Social housing or local authority operations.
  • Supervisory experience in a similar operation.
  • Good Communication and IT skills.
