About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at Mears, a leading provider of social housing services. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our contracts and the satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor the delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of our site teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact delivery.
  • Collaborate with our operations team to develop and implement process improvements and best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong construction knowledge and experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
