About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing administrative support across our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to supervisors and team members, including raising purchase orders, receiving and processing purchase orders, resolving queries, and maintaining and updating documentation and systems.
  • Handle service support desk queries and assign cases to relevant engineers for resolution.
  • Respond to and process day-to-day requests and queries in a professional, positive, and enthusiastic manner.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the department and support the organization's continuous improvement targets.
  • Provide cover and deputize for other team members during times of absence.

Requirements

  • Good administrative skills with previous experience working in a similar role within a busy customer-focused organization.
  • Experience working with management information systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Understanding of hard and soft facilities management services (desirable).
