Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Community Development Manager to join our team at Leaders in Care. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of social workers to deliver high-quality services that support families and communities.

About the Role: The successful candidate will have experience in team management and leadership, as well as a strong understanding of social work practices and statutory duties. They will be able to develop and implement effective team plans, manage workflows, and provide quality assurance through observations and reflective supervision.

Salary and Benefits: The annual salary for this position is estimated to be between £50,788 and £52,805, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a welcome payment of £5,000, an annual retention payment of £2,000, and up to £8,000 relocation package. Flexible working arrangements are also available, with 25.5 days annual leave rising to 30.5 days after 5 years continuous service.

Key Responsibilities: As a Community Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing effective team plans in line with Children's Services strategic objectives
  • Providing management oversight on all cases, ensuring statutory duties and best practice are followed
  • Managing the team's workflow and quality assuring work through observations and reflective supervision
