About the Position

We are recruiting for a Glasgow Neonatal Peer Support Team Member to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of families in the neonatal units across the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board.

  • You will work closely with volunteers and healthcare professionals to deliver peer support services.
  • Support families in their breastfeeding journey, providing guidance and reassurance when needed.
  • Collaborate with the Infant Feeding Lead to ensure high-quality care for all families.

Key Responsibilities

As a Glasgow Neonatal Peer Support Team Member, you will be responsible for providing face-to-face breastfeeding support to families in the neonatal units. You will work closely with volunteers and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality services. It is essential that you have at least 3 months of breastfeeding experience and are willing to undergo training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter and Neonatal Peer Supporter.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £7,425.60 per annum (pro-rata) based on a 12-hour working week. You will also receive reimbursement for travel expenses and access to a range of employee benefits.
