Clinical Psychologist

A unique opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Psychologist to join our Enhanced rehabilitation and recovery pathway as a Band 7 Preceptorship (progression to Band 8A upon completion of Preceptorship). The pathway provides inpatient and community services for people who have ongoing mental health difficulties such as psychosis.
The pathway is psychology led with a well-established psychology team. We are developing innovative services, using service evaluation and research to understand and improve our models and interventions. We have an impressive record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals and securing research grants. We have close links with the local university with qualified psychologists holding honorary lecture posts. There will be opportunities for research and teaching alongside the supervision of trainee psychologists.
Key Responsibilities- Work across the Enhanced rehabilitation and recovery pathway, delivering rehabilitation interventions in a community setting.
- Contribute to the development of innovative services, using service evaluation and research to improve models and interventions.
- Supervise trainee psychologists and provide guidance on psychological formulation and care planning.
- Collaborate with the local university to develop research and teaching opportunities.
