Job Title: Network Practitioner Psychologist

At Turning Point UK, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Network Practitioner Psychologist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our newly formed MHTR team based within our substance misuse services in the Leicestershire area.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical guidance, training, and leadership to a team of Senior Assistant and Assistant Psychologists who facilitate psycho-social interventions with individuals on a Mental Health Treatment Requirement.
  • Use expertise to build on a range of innovative approaches developed within other Turning Point MHTR services, working closely with the Clinical Lead under the supervision of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
  • Be responsible for the systematic governance of the Leicestershire MHTR service alongside operational colleagues.
  • Offer practical advice on evidence-based psychological interventions to colleagues as well as local agencies and organisations.
Requirements:
  • Up-to-date registration through the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist.
  • A doctorate in your professional specialism and proven ability to deliver psychological services.
  • Experience of leading and supervising clinical staff, ideally with experience of working with substance misuse Service Users.
  • Formal training in supervision, whilst not essential, would be desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and commitment to the Recovery Agenda.
