Female Personal Assistant for Teenage Girl in East Ardsley

We are seeking a kind, patient, and understanding female personal assistant to support our 15-year-old daughter with her daily needs. Our daughter was born with a spinal cord injury and requires assistance with personal care, mobility, and social activities.
About the Role:- Provide personal care and support to our daughter, including showering, dressing, and using the bathroom.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using a hoist and transfer board.
- Support our daughter in accessing her interests and hobbies, both at home and in the community.
- Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation, shopping, and getting ready for bed/day.
- Monitor and support our daughter's healthcare needs, including tracheostomy and gastrostomy care.
- Encourage and support our daughter's learning and development of new skills and independence.
- Experience in personal care and support work, preferably with individuals with similar needs.
- Moving and Handling training.
- Reliable, approachable, and excellent communication skills.
- Kind, patient, and understanding attitude.
- Ability to develop a good bond with our daughter and support her in her daily life.
- A full, clean driving license and own car.
- Experience in gastrostomy care and tracheostomy care.
- Experience working with children of a similar age.
6 hours per week, flexible and negotiable, including some weekends and evenings.
Pay:£12.40 per hour, gross.
Location:East Ardsley, West Yorkshire.
