About the Role

Allen Lane is seeking a highly skilled Transformation Manager to support the London Borough of Newham in their search for a Change Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving behavior and culture change within the IT service, supporting the Sovereign IT Programme as it transitions from OneSource shared IT Service to an IT Service for Newham.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement internal communications and engagement strategies to ensure clear and effective messaging throughout the transition.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather regular feedback from staff, informing engagement initiatives and driving cultural change.
  • Design and execute strategies to foster a positive and inclusive culture within the DDaT team, promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Regularly assess the impact of culture change initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful implementation.
  • Lead on Diversity and inclusion initiatives, aligning with cultural changes and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Establish and manage a network of change champions across DDaT, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop clear and consistent messages for various stakeholders within the organization, ensuring effective communication and engagement.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of behavior and culture change principles, with experience in implementing successful transformation initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of training and workforce development best practices, with expertise in internal communications and messaging strategies.
  • Ability to lead and drive cultural change across an organization, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and motivate staff.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex messages clearly and develop effective training programmes.
