We are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environmental Lead to join our team at Direct Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental performance of our client's manufacturing facilities.

About the Job

As a Health, Safety, and Environmental Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety strategies to mitigate risks and promote a culture of safety within the organization.

  • You will conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs related to health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on health and safety matters, including incident investigations and root cause analysis.
What You'll Need
  • Relevant qualifications in health and safety, such as IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a health and safety leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
