About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Delivery Support Expert to join our Risks & Opportunities team in Farnborough. This is a minimum 12-month fixed-term contract, and you will be working onsite.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Zephyr Programme Manager, Project Managers, and work package leads in identifying, setting up, and managing risks.
  • Prepare risk management strategies, including fully resourced and costed risk mitigations.
  • Assist the Integrated Planning Manager in tracking the progress of mitigation strategies.
  • Implement risk mitigation through the change process.
  • Manage risk contingency.
  • Propose changes in workflow to mitigate delays and risks as well as implement opportunities.
  • Agree and monitor project risks for tracking, including KPIs for mitigation achievements with the Head of PMO.

About You

  • You have a track record of successful delivery of PMO activities for technical and commercially complex projects.
  • You are competent in MS Office, risk management, and project planning tools (e.g., Unified Planner, MS Project, P6).
  • You possess strong data analysis and assessment skills.
  • You have excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence subordinates, peers, superiors, and partners.
  • You are an effective communicator, providing regular and detailed written and verbal reports and presentations to stakeholders.
  • You have strong coordination and management skills, with the ability to motivate others.
  • You can operate strategically, identify and embrace new technology and changes while controlling project scope.

Salary Details

The salary for this role is approximately £32.54 per hour.
