About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Adult Care Specialist to join our team at Northampton Business Directory. This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to provide high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans that promote residents' independence, dignity, and security.
  • Build strong relationships with residents and their families to ensure effective communication and care coordination.
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants in maintaining high standards of care and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Plan and deliver social and recreational activities to stimulate residents physically and mentally.
  • Administer medication and assist Registered Nurses and Care Managers as needed.


Requirements:
  • Completed Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Care.
  • Experience in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to report concerns.


Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
